Dr Ann Maastricht is an Equine Veterinarian that now focuses solely on Veterinary Chiropractic and Acupuncture.
After an internship in Equine Medicine and Surgery and in particular Equine Lameness at Ballarat Veterinary Practice, Ann took up General Equine Practice at Kilmore Equine Clinic. After seeing many Veterinary cases that General Veterinary Medicine was unable to treat she became interested in Veterinary Chiropractic and Acupuncture. Ann attended the Options for Animals: College of Chiropractic in Kansas, USA to complete the "Essentials in Animal Chiropractic" course and has been Certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA - http://www.ivca.de/eng/index.php?index). Ann has also completed the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) certification in Veterinary Acupuncture. More recently Ann has just finished a Graduate Diploma in Animal Biomechanical Medicine which is the Australian equivalent Animal Chiropractic Course.
Ann provides a mobile Veterinary Chiropractic and Acupuncture service to Performance and Pleasure horses alike in the Kilmore and surrounding Suburbs of Victoria.
Ann is an avid rider herself and competes in Dressage and the odd Horse Trials. She also attends her local Adult Riding club when time permits.
